Circa 1960 Training Center #1 Quang Trung (TTHL 1, Centre d' Instruction Technique 1) Pocket

This is a circa 1960 pocket badge for the Quang Trung Training Center #1 (TTHL 1, Centre d' Instruction Technique 1). This shield-shaped badge is on a leather hanger and does not have a maker mark. It is a 3rd variant design. The design of the badge incorporates several symbols dear to the Vietnamese culture: a dragon, sword and helmet, and rice.

Circa 1960.

Badge: approximately 3-3/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width; card: 5-1/2" by 2-7/8".

Gilt brass, painted areas, leather, oaktag.

Vertical safety-style pin, pocket hanger.
