Description
This is a circa 1950s Capital Airlines ground staff half wing, worn by employees such as agents. At the center of the wing is a bird-turned-airplane flying beneath five stars. The original lettering would have been in gold.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" height and 2-5/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The wing shows spots of light to medium wear and tarnish and original gold plating on lettering is mostly worn away.
