Circa 1939 National Air Races Pin with Red and White Ribbon

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1939 National Air Races at Cleveland badge with a red and white ribbon. The pin shows a winged pilot's head and reads NATIONAL AIR RACES CLEVELAND.

VINTAGE: Circa 1939.

SIZE: 5" height (including ribbon) and 1-1/2" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Celluloid pin with tin backing and silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal straight pin.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Pin shows little wear and ribbon has a small stain.
