This is a Civilian Conservation Corps acid test gold-plated collar insignia for the 5tth District. The insignia is on its original manufacturer tag from Insignia Jewelry.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" by 1-1/16".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated.
ATTACHMENT:Two screw posts with domed backings.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Insignia shows some areas of light tarnish and wear and tag has inked letters "CCC", moderate creasing and a corner tear.
