ARTIFACT:
This is a nice old circa 1910's 6-point star Deputy Marshal badge, from the Town of Rockingham, most likely Missouri. There are only a few "Rockinghams" out there, and this just doesn't look to be a North Carolina or Vermont badge! There is nice yellowing to the nickel, and dark patina to the reverse.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1910's.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 1-7/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical safety-style pin, saddle.
MARKINGS:
None.
ITEM NOTES:
This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJX12 LCGEX1/13 SLEGEX04/23/21
CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some areas of wear to the lettering.
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
