Description
This is a circa 1910s lapel badge for the Polish Falcons (ZSPWA: Zwiazek Sokolow Polskich w Ameryce), a Polish-American social organization with a secondary aim of promoting Polish independence. The group has been around since 1887 but changed their name to Polish Falcons Alliance of America in 1914 and then to Polish Falcons of America ten years later, after a move from Chicago to Pittsburgh. The badge reads CZOLEM ZYZNIE SZPONEM WROGOWII .

SIZE:Approximately 1" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
