ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910s fireman's grave marker from an unknown New England department. The marker is in cast iron. Its border is a thick fire hose and it reads LADDER 1. The marker has a maker's mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately 5-13/16" in diameter and about 1" in depth (including brackets).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cast iron.

ATTACHMENT: Brackets on reverse.

MARKINGS: BALCH BROS. & WEST MANUFACTURERS UTICA N.Y.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The marker has some small areas of light to medium wear.
