ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1910s fireman's grave marker from an unknown New England department. The marker is in cast iron. Its border is a thick fire hose and it reads LADDER The marker has a maker's mark on reverse.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5-13/16" in diameter and about 1" in depth (including brackets).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cast iron.

ATTACHMENT:

Brackets on reverse.
