Description
This is a circa 1907 postcard of St. John's Church and its graveyard, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Built in 1807, St. John's was erected upon the former site of Queen's Chapel, an 18th century structure. St. John's is now on the National Register of Historical Places. The "Phostint" postcard is by Detroit Publishing Company and has a blank border along the right-hand side of the image. It has been written upon, and has a period stamp and a postmark from Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
VINTAGE:Circa 1907.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/2" in width and 3-1/2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Card stock.
