This is a circa 1901 United States Army 12th Cavalry, Troop C enlisted man collar insignia. It shows two crossed sabers with a number 12 above and a "C" below.
VINTAGE:Circa 1901.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/16" in height by 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blackened brass or bronze.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an early United States Army enlisted man collar insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX14 LABEX4/14 SABEX5/14
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The insignia shows some light wear.
