This is a 1900 "stock" private detective badge in a cut-out star design.

Circa 1900.

2-1/16" height and 1-3/4" width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical kick pin with "C" catch.

7+ (Very Fine+): Badge has some small spots of moderate wear and about half of the painted letters have worn away.
