This is a circa 1900 police commissioner badge from New Britain, Connecticut. The badge shows a beehive at its center, which is the seal of New Britain.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold fill with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with C catch.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The badge shows very light wear and tarnish.
