Description
This is a circa 1890s silver badge for the San Francisco, California branch organization known as Veteran Odd Fellows (V.O.F.). Established in 1877, the VOF was formed in order to preserve the history of and tradition of the Odd Fellows. The badge was made by Pasquale of San Francisco with nicely enameled and engraved details, including Masonic symbols such as an "Eye of Providence" and a handshake.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with tongue-style catch.
