CBI-Made Unofficial 40th Photo Recon Squadron / India-Burma Sec / 10th AF / 8th PG Patch

This is a World War II multi-piece leather CBI-made unofficial jacket patch for the United States 40th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron, India-Burma Sector, 10th Air Force, 8th Photo Group. The patch shows a P-38 aircraft flying over a land mass.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 4-3/4" in diameter.

Multi-piece leather embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The patch shows moderate to heavy wear especially along border and an overall discoloration.
