ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970s captain wing 3rd issue for Allegheny Airlines, which operated out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1952 until 1979, when it changed its name to US Air. The wing shows a red and blue boomerang-like wing at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VBJX12 LBDEX12/12 SBDEX7/16

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The wing shows light wear only.
