ARTIFACT: Ca. 1940 - 1941 Polish Army in the West Sand Cast Eagle made in Palestine with original fastener. The hat badge shows a nicely detailed perched eagle with wings outspread towards the sky, the eagle faces the viewer's left and is topped with a crown.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940 - 1941.

SIZE: Approximately 2 1/16" in height x 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass or copper.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Polish militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJX15 LAGEX6/15

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Badge shows minor to moderate wear, overall handsome patina.
