ARTIFACT: Circa 1930 Kingsbury Toys National Silver Arrow Club Senior Pilot pin on from Keene, New Hampshire. The round pin features a 'Silver Arrow Plane' in the center and above it reads: "SENIOR PILOT SILVER ARROW", "N. S. A. C." Kingsbury Toys was a Keene, New Hampshire business from the latter part of the nineteenth century although it was first named the Wilkins Toy Company until 1918. The company manufactured much more than toys, and was called on to provide parts for the United States Air Corps. Kingsbury marketed the motorized model "Silver Arrow" and fans of the toy were anxious to become a part of the NSAC (National Silver Arrow Club). After the owner had built the model and achieved a 500 foot flight they could apply for a membership pin into the Senior Pilot Silver Arrow Club.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Die struck plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety style pin.

MARKINGS: None.
