Description
This is a great circa 1900s Jetts, Kentucky police badge with an H.L. Koehler of Louisville hallmark. The badge is shield-shaped and has a number 5 at its center. The number is flanked by hand-engraved pillars or Roman numeral "I"s. Jetts, now known succinctly as Jett, is a suburb of Frankfort, the capital of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass (possibly originally plated, like the remnant show on the reverse).
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
