This is a ca. 1900 Constable 6-point star of Jefferson County, most likely Kansas.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:About 2-1/4" in width by 2-1/2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated nickel with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with a "C" catch.
MARKINGS:NORTHWESTERN STAMP WORKS ST. PAUL, MINN.
