ARTIFACT: This is a circa early World War II United States Army Air Forces jacket patch for an unidentified fighter squadron. The patch is in painted leather and come form the North African theatre. It shows a winged insect at center with a machine gun as its beak.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 5-1/8" in height and 3-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted leather.
