ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Chinese-made early World War II shoulder patch. The patch is reputed to be for either the 1st Bomb Group, or the 1st Chinese-American Composite Wing (CACW), a joint national effort and was assigned the 14th Air Force in China. The patch is fully embroidered in primary colors and shows a wing bearing a Chinese sun at the top and a missile labeled "1" at the center. This patch came to us with a China Air Task Force (CATF) patch in bullion from the same era: please see the link at the bottom of this page for more information on that patch (sold separately).

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: Snaps.

MARKINGS: None.
