ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified circa late 1930s badge that reads WHITE MTS. NAT. FORRESTS (sic) CARROLL COUNTY. It is numbered 10 on the front and has the Seal of the State of New Hampshire at its center. This could possibly be a fire warden or State Forest or Park Ranger badge.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

PAT. No. on bar.
