Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified patch, possibly from Maine or New Hampshire. It may be a scouting patch of some sort: it reads TATANKA and shows a buffalo ("tatanka" and an Indian head.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-13/16" in height and 4-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Multi-piece wool felt, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

Tag cut off.

ITEM NOTES:
