BEING RESEARCHED - Sterling "GAA" Lapel Wing with R.L. Griffith & Son Mark - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified lapel wing with a blue enameled shield reading GAA at its center, and may likely be for some aviation association.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-1/4" in width.

Sterling silver with enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

STERLING and G with arrow mark (R.L. Griffith & Son Co. of Providence, RI).

This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAF/EJ99 LX6/11

7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has some light abrasions to the enamel and areas of light to medium tarnish.
