ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified aircraft instrument dated 1954 on reverse. The instrument has a Sperry maker mark on its face and has a plate reading SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR by TELECHRON on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown (4-6-54 written on reverse).

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/2" square and 7" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass, steel, brass.

ATTACHMENT: Screws, nuts, holes, plug.

MARKINGS: SPERRY mark, REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. on face; PART NO. 12300 SERIAL 6148 PATENTS PENDING UNITED STATES GREAT BRITAIN CANADA; 201 WRITTEN ON SIDE; 12296 ON REVERSE; REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. TELECHRON SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR TYPE B3 V110 C60 MOD. 654M195 RPM 4 W-4 ONLY FOR USE WHICH ORIGINALLY U.S. PATENT 430867 1456082 1495936 1546269 176838 SER. NO. WARREN TELECHRON CO. ASHLAND, MASS. on plate on reverse; F 12298, 96T stamp, 4-6-54 date, OVERHAUL NORFOLK sticker on top.
