Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified, probably World War I era wing pin showing a cockade at center and a propeller at top with the owner's initials (DSW) engraved on reverse. The letters NAA encircle the shield and there is a possibility of the pin being a WWI-era pin for the Naval Aeronautical Association or some similar organization.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Unknown.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with tubular C catch.

MARKINGS:

CALDWELL.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified.
