BEING RESEARCHED - Old S.A.H. Police Cut-Out Star Badge - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDENTIFIED

This is an unidentified police badge in an old-style cut-out star design. The badge reads S.A.H. Police, but as of yet, S.A.H. is a mystery location.

Possibly circa 1890s-early 1900s.

1-3/4" height and 1-3/8" width.

Nickel-plated brass.

Was originally a vertical safety-style pin but the pin is missing ("C") catch and loop of pin still attached.
