BEING RESEARCHED - Numbered WWII "18A" Chinese Badge with Red Cross

This is an unidentified Chinese badge from World War II, possibly connected to the Red Cross. It shows the American and Chinese flags with a red cross between them and reads 18A. It is numbered 118 on reverse.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-11/16" in width.

Plated brass, painted areas.

Swiveling horizontal safety style pin secured with two loops.
