ARTIFACT: This is an exquisite jeweler-made graduation pin tested 14 karat gold for an unknown institution. The front of the pin reads H.P.P.A., and is possibly for an academy. The pin has the look of a modified sextant, and is named to Sarah T. Brackett and dated on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1863.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 14 karat gold (tested), enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal T-style pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: Sarah T. Brackett Class '63.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAAJX13 LX2/13

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows light wear and tarnish.
