ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Dutch Silver postal medal. The badge reads 1899-1909 16 MEI (May 16) on its front and BESTUURS PRIJS DE POST (board of postal pricing) on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension ring.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of French, Belgian, and other European postal items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VEX00 LJJJX1/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The medal shows some areas of light to medium wear and tarnish.
