ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army swagger stick presented in 1960 to a Colonel from an unidentified organization/school. The inscription on the cap reads Colonel L. A. Guessaz, Jr TAGS USA 30 NOV 60. TAGS may stand for T--- Adjutant General School. Col. Guessaz, of Florida, passed away in 1993. . The top of the Swagger Stick has an enameled crest for the US Army Adjutant General Corps and the other end is a bullet.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in diameter (at top) and 21-1/2" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, brass, enamel, diamond chip.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: COL. L. A. GUESSAZ, JR. TAGS USA 30 NOV 60.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The stick has some minor spots of wear, a tiny bit of enamel missing, and some tarnish to the ends.
