BEING RESEARCHED - 1930s German Veteran Stick Pin Stahlhelm Related with Owl - NOT FOR SALE TIL IDed

This is an unidentified stick pin for a German veteran, presumably Stahlhelm (steel helmet) related. The pin shows an owl clutching a helmet and has perhaps an 8 painted on his breast. The pin was made in Munich and has a maker mark on reverse.

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 7/16" in width.

Plated brass, painted detail.
