Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified locally-made French pin reading THE UTMOST FOR THE HIGHEST in English. The motto on the pin is that of the Slepe Hall School in the United Kingdom, which did employ teachers from France, but is not necessarily related to the pin. The pin is a light blue crest an open book with flowers.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

1-3/16" height and 1-1/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal British "Y" pin with "C" catch.

ITEM NOTES:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin has a very small spot of discoloration on the enamel and light tarnishing.
