ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful World War II United States Army Air Forces Air Gunner wing by Moody Brothers of Los Angeles, California. The wing is in sterling silver and is accompanied by the gunner's lucky 1939 British half-penny.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Wing: approximately 7/8" in height and 2-15/16" in length; half penny: about 1" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver; copper.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.
