ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful World War II Royal Australian Air Force air gunner portrait photograph done in a London studio. The photograph is mounted in a folder signed by noted photographer Pearl Freeman, whose subjects also included the troubled young writer Jean Rhys. The handsome young man sitting for Freeman looks stunning in his uniform, complete with hat badge and air gunner wing.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 10" in height and 7-1/2" in width.
