ARTIFACT: Beautiful WWII Eastern Aircraft War Worker lapel pin. Eastern Aircraft was a division of General Motors that built the FM-2 Wildcat for the United States Navy in WWII. The pin is a winged five-point star bearing a red center encircled by a ring that reads: "EASTERN AIRCRAFT".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" x 5/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled sterling silver

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback

MARKINGS: "STERLING SILVER", union marks

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lapel pin shows minor to moderate wear and tarnishing, much of the enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
