Description
This is a beautiful leather jacket patch made for the United States Army Air Forces 831st Bomb Squadron, 485th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force. The 829th originated as the 516th Bombardment Squadron in 1942, and later the 11th Antisubmarine Squadron, flying anti-submarine patrols. In October 1943, they were redesignated as the 831st and flew B-24 Liberators. The patch was made in the United States and has a Disney design showing Timothy the Circus Mouse riding on a camouflaged B-24 Liberator. A classic!
