Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Beautiful Vintage 1960's - 1970's San Juan Pueblo (Now Ohkay Owingeh) New Mexico Tewa Tribal Police Badge. Original Tribal Police Officer's name scratch-engraved on back: La Cuesta. Beautiful, well made badge. Possibly made by Blackinton, but unmarked.

VINTAGE:

1960's - 1970's.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in height x 2-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel with enamel, painted letter.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
