Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a heavy United States Marine Corps identification bracelet engraved to named to Richard Lewis Penney, USMC. The bracelet is in sterling silver. It was engraved on reverse by Penney's sweetheart, Mary Lou, and dated the last day of the year, 1944.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" in width and 7-5/8" in length (including chain).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Chain with forked catch.

MARKINGS:

976571; STERLING on reverse.
