ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful World War II silver ring for the United States 86th Bomb Group, 12th Air Force. The group moved and served in many spots around the European theatre and was awarded two Distinctive Unit Citations. The ring was jeweler-made in Italy and has initials engraved on the inside. The ring reads VIRTUS PERDURAT (Courage will endure).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximate size 9.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver.

ATTACHMENT: None.
