This is a beautiful pre-War Nazi Police belt buckle. The strap is dated 1938 and bears a G. Bremmer maker's stamp. The buckle also has a maker mark, and shows a raised swastika at its center. It reads GOTT MIT UNS (God with us).
VINTAGE:Circa 1938 (pre-World War II).
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 5-1/8" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Aluminum, leather.
ATTACHMENT:Two prongs, rectangular slot.
MARKINGS:Maker mark on reverse of belt; G. BREMMER 1938 MARKNEUKIRCHEN on strap.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The buckle shows little wear.
