ARTIFACT:

This is a Beautiful Old Circa 1900 Brockton Massachusetts Fire Department Captain Badge in Coin Silver. Old Repair Re-Soldering to Captain Banner. Unmarked but Tested Coin Silver. Unusual "Round Top" Forked  Catch.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1900.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-7/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Coin Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS:

"CAPTAIN BROOKTON SETTLED 1700 A TOWN 1821 EDUCATION INDUSTRY PROGRESS SACHEM ROCK FIRE DEPT" (obverse)
