Description
This is a beautiful Model 1913 Austrian pilot badge (Feldpilotenabzeichen 1913) produced in the 1930s for prior service wear by a veteran. The badge was manufactured by Rothe. The beautifully convex badge has an eagle with slightly convex wings set against a green enameled wreath with the Kaiser's crown at the top. A small white shield near the bottom bears the initials of Kaiser Franz Joseph I (FJI).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" in height x 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated and gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Raised vertical T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
