ARTIFACT: Beautiful enameled WWI United States Air Service patriotic or sweetheart pin. The center of the round pin features a winged globe, which shows both North and South America and the Horizon line. Surrounding it are two enameled rings in red, white, and blue – the blue segment at the top features five brass stars.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM15 LAAEX6/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows moderate wear, mostly to the high points, nearly all the gilt brass and enamel details remain intact.
