This is a Beautiful Early World War I M1914 Imperial Bavarian Observer Badge in Enameled 925 Silver by Meybauer.
This period hand modified Badge looks to have started out as a Prussian Badge, But was "Re-Crowned" a master Jeweler. It also appears that the Signal Device center was replaced in the period of use.
VINTAGE:
World War I.
SIZE:Approximately: 2-7/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:925 Silver with hard fired white, black, and red enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T- pin with C catch.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Minor wear and tarnishing, and nice patina. Overall, it is beautiful.
