ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa 1930 Long Beach, California Police Detective Sergeant badge. The large badge has lovely mellow tone and hardly any wear. It has a raised five-pointed star at its center and perfect cobalt blue enameled lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch; center of star riveted on.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEEJX13 LABGEX9/13 SABGEX12/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has very little wear and a small bit of oxidation near the bottom; enameled lettering is perfect.
