ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful 1960s bullion uniform patch for Pan Am. The robin's-egg blue Pan Am globe at the patch's center is edged and partitioned with a beautiful gold bullion, and the whole patch has a royal blue border. As seen on dark blue blazers worn by hosts of the Pan Am Clipper VIP Lounge. Hosts greeted VIP travelers upon arrival, handled their luggage transfers, and cared for their personal requests, such as those related to publicity or privacy. The hosts, who wore contrasting dark blue blazers to the stewardess light blue, saw to the needs of the VIP travelers tasked with do what was required to keep them happy Pan Am travelers.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in bullion threads with twill backing.
