ARTIFACT: Beautiful 1948 Allentown Hospital School of Nursing Graduation Pin in gold filled, enameled brass by Braxmar. The center features an enameled red cross with a brass embellishment that reads: "1948". The words around the center read: "SCHOOL OF NURSING ALLENTOWN HOSPITAL". The nursing school was operated by the hospital and trained over 3,500 nurses between 1899 and 1988. The last class of students, less than fifty, graduated in 1988. The cornerstone for the building, originally laid on May 6, 1950, has now been removed and its artifacts were put on display in the Allentown Hospital.

VINTAGE: Circa 1948.

SIZE: Approximately 1" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold filled, enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Pin shows minor to moderate wear, pin is slightly bent, but does not affect its operation. Overall excellent condition, gold fill and enamel details remain intact.
