ARTIFACT: Beautiful 1930's – WWII Hungarian Air Force Pilot Officer Wing. The wing displays gorgeous detail, fully embroidered in bullion with accents of tinsel, sequins, and red thread and depicts an eagle with wings spread perched below an ornately decorated crown. The reverse features the maker's stamp on the paper backing

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 4 3/8" x 1 ¾"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered with silk and bullion thread, sequins, paper backing

ATTACHMENT: None. To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: Maker's stamp on reverse paper backing.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Hungarian militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX15 LDGEX6/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear in some areas showing separation of bullion and areas of wool felt missing along the edge.
