Description
Beautiful 1930's ??? 1940's soda fountain straw dispenser. The heavy glass dispenser features a chromed brass lid with a Bakelite knob and steel insert. The underside of the straw holder's cup reads: "BENEDICT" and displays a maker's mark and the number: "40" or perhaps "10", as the bottom is unreadable.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine - Excellent): Straw dispenser shows minor to moderate wear, the chrome plating shows a few blemishes or spots of oxidation, the steel insert shows spots of mild oxidation, and the glass is clear, beautiful, and heavy.
