This is a beautiful circa 1920 United States Air Service pilot wing in sterling silver with massive findings. The wing has uniquely patterned feathering and a striped crest at its center and is by an unknown maker.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1920.
SIZE:
Approximately 13/16" in height by 3" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch (massive findings).
MARKINGS:
STERLING.
